After a month of studying and cultural experiencing, the first SMU-UOP (University of Plymouth) Summer School Program ended on July 13th at SMU. Prof. Jin Yongxing, Vice President of SMU, Prof. Shi Chaojian, Dean of International Education College, teacher representatives, student volunteers of SMU, and all the students from UOP attended the closing ceremony.
Prof. Jin Yongxing congratulated to the students on the smooth accomplishment of the Summer School, and highly praised their excellent performance inside and outside classes.
Jack, Student Representative from UOP said they not only learned expertise and some Chinese, but also experienced the Chinese culture and customs. And the most important thing is that they have established deep friendships with Chinese students, which makes this summer school in Shanghai especially unique and precious.
