During 15th to 30th September 2018, the second Danish training course of marine engineering watch keeping, tanker familiarization and ship safety is successfully organized and completed. 36 students and two teachers, Jan and Martin, from Marine Engineering College of Copenhagen, Denmark spent two pleasant and meaningful weeks in SMU.
At the beginning of the training, a brief opening ceremony was held by the International Education College（IEC）, on which students were given an introduction about the development history of SMU. They also watched a short video about campus facilities so as to enrich their understanding of the university. After that, Prof. Zeng Xiangming, the director of the training, introduced the schedule of the training program to the Danish students in details.
During the intensive training, the International Education College also organized cultural exchanges and sports activities between Danish and Chinese students, which deepened the friendship between the youth of the two countries.
