Zhenru Chen, assistant professor,graduated from Tamkang University with bachelor degree in English language in 1995, and University of Pennsylvania with master degree in English teaching in 1997, and University of Montana with doctorate in education leadership in 2005. She has been working in Shanghai Maritime University since 2009 and is now teaching oral Chinese and intensive reading courses in the International Education College.
She taught in the Information Management Department of Jinwen University of Science and Technology from August 1998 to July 2003, including English, Business English, English listening, and Science and Technology English. She was a full-time assistant professor in the Applied English Department of Jinwen University of Science and Technologyfrom August 2005 to July 2008, and taught English writing and other professional courses.
The research direction is foreign language teaching method, curriculum design, educational supervision and higher education science and technology application evaluation.
