On May 13th, Shanghai Maritime University celebrated the 12th Campus Open Day, where international students from different countries showcased their cultures through various performances and attractions. The students prepared different snacks from their respective countries, performed traditional dances and songs to introduce their cultures to the guests.
The international students had performances both on stage and in front of their booths. One of the performances on the stage was by a Vanuatu dance group, while the second performance was by students from Thailand and Mexico. The performances in front of the booth included playing instruments from West Africa and teaching the guests how to play them and dance. The booth also had various activities, including a world map, guessing game and a claw machine game, with many prizes for the guests.
