Jingyao Song holds a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. from the School of Chinese as a Second Language, Peking University. Since 2016, she has been working at Shanghai Maritime University, where she currently serves as an Associate Professor.
She teaches a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses, including College Chinese, Chinese Literature, Fundamentals of Chinese Language, Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, Chinese Language Elements Teaching, Cases of Chinese Classroom Teaching Abroad, College English, English Reading, Comparison of Chinese and Western Cultures, Overview of China, Chinese Culture and Tradition, and Introduction to Classical Poetry.
Her research focuses on modern Chinese grammar, international Chinese education, and shipping and maritime-related fields.
