Yijun Ding

He received his Bachelor’s degree in Media and Communication Studies from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2016. In 2017, he obtained his Master’s degree in Media Studies from Uppsala University, Sweden. From September 2022,he served as a Senior Visiting Scholar of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a Young Visiting Scholar at the Alexandre Koyré Centre for the History of Science and Technology, École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), France. In 2023, he earned his Ph.D. in Chinese Language and Literature from the School of Humanities, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. From July 2023 to June 2025, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Department of History, Shanghai Normal University, focusing on Sino-French relations in the 19th century and archival manuscripts of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In July 2025, he joined the School of International Education, Shanghai Maritime University, where he currently teaches Chinese Literature and College Chinese.
